Two Championship One players charged

Hemel Stags player Chad Sharp and Pat Smith of Gloucestershire All Golds have been charged with offences committed in the 70th minute of their clubs’ Kingstone Press Championship One fixture on April 28.

Both players have been charged with Grade B striking and have until 11.00am on Tuesday May 7 to submit Early Guilty Pleas in relation to the charges.

Both players were charged after the incidents were viewed by the RFL Match Review Panel which also issued a formal caution to Leigh Centurions player Bob Beswick for a dangerous throw against Batley Bulldogs on April 28.
