Holders LEIGH MINERS RANGERS booked their place in the semi-finals, but only after battling past SHAW CROSS SHARKS by 16-10.
The Sharks – of Division Two – produced a great display but ultimately fell short against a Miners side who registered tries from Martin Gray, Scott O’Brien and Adam Thomason, as Jonny Youds booted two conversions.
The outstanding Derrell Olpherts burst over in response for the Sharks and Shaun Squires added the extras.
MILFORD MARLINS needed a golden-point field-goal from Martin Loveridge to see off KELLS 9-8.
The winger had earlier kicked two goals – the first of which improved Matt Harding’s 35th minute touchdown as they hosts led 6-2 at half-time.
The Cumbrian points came from a penalty and conversion from the boot of Ross Gainford, whilst Daniel Joyce claimed their sole try in the 75th minute.
BLACKBROOK defied the gap in Divisions to push WATH BROW HORNETS all the way before been edged out 24-20.
The Division Three outfit had try scorers in the form of Jack Parker, Aaron Hewitt (2) and Danny Fairhurst, with two Lee Marsh goals proving to be not quite enough.
The NCL champions needed a Karl Dixon try three minutes from time to book their place in the last four.
Mark Watson added his second conversion to the late score to complete the points scoring, with the other Hornets tries coming via Dixon and Luke Davison (2). Peter Caddy also slotted over two goals.
WIGAN ST PATRICKS cruised past BRADFORD DUDLEY HILL courtesy of a 40-6 win.
It was a long afternoon for the visitors whose only reward came from a try to Josh Chamberlain which Simon Sewell converted.
Liam Gannon led the St Pats charge with a hat-trick, whilst scrum-half Ryan Smith also helped himself to a treble.
Jayden Sanderson and Brad Hargreaves claimed the other Wigan touchdowns while Anthony Griffiths and Bradley Smith both kicked two goals.

MYTON WARRIORS moved out of the relegation zone thanks to a 30-16 mid-week derby victory over HULL DOCKERS.
The Dockers took an early lead with a try from Steve Milne that Craig Skelton improved; before Ash James improved a Chris Wainman try to put the Warriors back in the game and make it 6-6 at the break.
Second half efforts from Mark Spence (2) and James (2) – who also added four more goals – made the game safe for Myton, with Dockers only managing efforts from John Eccles and Joe Williams, one of which was improved by Andy Kay, in response.
EGREMONT RANGERS raced to a 78-6 win over struggling INCE ROSE BRIDGE.
Full-back Rhys Davies led the way with a four-try haul whilst there were two-try showings from Leon Crellin and Jack Stainton.
Paul Corkhill, Peter Bewsher, Ryan Barnes, Kevin Brown and Bradley Hailes also crossed the whitewash as Matthew Bewsher completed a 26-point haul courtesy of a try and 11 goals.
The Wigan-based visitor’s only success came from a David Hoctor try and Connor Matthews conversion.
WEST HULL came out on top 28-20 in an entertaining derby contest against EAST HULL.
The win keeps Wests well placed in the play-off mix and came after tries from Tom Radley, Paul Shaw, Matt Plummer, Luke Foster and Ryan Morrow, with Scott Spaven tagging on four conversions.
Easts – who trailed 16-6 at the interval – had Carl Puckering in the points again with a try and two goals, whilst other touchdowns went to Sam Cator, Matty Brooks and Lewis Newington.
YORK ACORN climbed out of the relegation places thanks to a 34-16 win over fellow strugglers SKIRLAUGH.
The Hull side led 12-6 at half-time but despite tries from John Gay, James Higginbottom – who also kicked two goals – and Brandon Graham it was not to be their day.
Acorn’s points came from tries to Joe Porter, Joe Budd, Arran Thompson, Lewis Lord, Alan Willetts and Joe Johnson. Anthony Chilton’s five goals completing their fifth win of the season.

EAST LEEDS won a thrilling game with OULTON RAIDERS 38-32.
Easts appeared to be cruising when they led 28-6 at the break, but the Raiders produced a storming comeback which eventually ended just short.
The visitor’s tries came via a Dane Charles hat-trick, Stu Biscombe and Andy Tillett (2), whilst Luke Richardson and Jamie Benn both kicked a couple of goals.
The hosts – who now sit second, just two points behind leaders Wigan St Judes – had seven different try scorers as Tom Sheldrake booted five goals.
David Nurse, Jack Ely, Ben Walkin, Dean Tomlinson, John Carter, Luke Tomlinson and Ryan Gaunt were the men to cross.
Joe Quinici starred with a five-try showing as ROCHDALE MAYFIELD raced to a stunning 80-16 win over HUNSLET WARRIORS.
Mayfield were 34-12 ahead by half-time and also registered tries through Rob Kershaw and Mitch Spackman, as Lewis Sheridan chipped in with a try and 12 goals.
Dan Kauffman, Paul Brierley, Jack Sampson and Sean Hill efforts meant Mayfield hit the 80-point mark in what was their eighth win of the season.
The Warriors mustered tries to Dave Norton, Az Pratt and Adam Acker, with two Gary McClelland goals closing their account.

Division Two round-up
LEIGH EAST cruised to a 58-14 win over EASTMOOR DRAGONS in the only Division Two game this weekend.
The Dragons scored first through a Michael Hoyle touchdown before the conversion and a further penalty from Jordan Churchill opened up an early 8-0 lead. However, they had to wait until the final moments to add to their tally as Southward converted a late effort from Lee Whiteley.
In between times Leigh raced over for 11 tries, seven of which were improved by scrum-half Adam Holland.
Mark Cahill and Ian Jolley both grabbed a brace each, whilst other four-pointers came from Holland, Steve Grundy, Ryan O’Toole, Mark Ballard, Dale Allred, Ben Horan and Keiron Dainty.
