Will Sharp has agreed a new contract with Featherstone Rovers.

Sharp, 26, has over 100 Super League appearances to his name during time with London Broncos and Hull FC but he is now committed to Rovers through to 2014.

The winger said, “I am delighted to have agreed to stay at Featherstone Rovers for a further two years. I am really enjoying being back in rugby league and since joining in April I feel I adopted back to the game well.

“I feel the club is going places both on and off the field and I am certain I can fulfil my Super League aspirations at Featherstone Rovers. We are fully focused to finishing 2013 on a high and building for a bright future.”

Featherstone CEO Craig Poskitt said, “It is fantastic news that Will Sharp will be wearing the Featherstone shirt for another season. He has made a big difference and we all know there’s a lot more to come.

“Will has the clubs support to realise his full potential and the squads morale is lifted following his signature. I would urge all members to sign up for their renewals and with continuous good news and quality signings I am sure we can increase our new members by a considerable amount.”
