Rangi Chase requests transfer

Castleford have announced that Rangi Chase has submitted a transfer request.

Chase, 27, signed for the Tigers in 2009 from NRL club St George Illawarra and he has gone on to make 120 appearances, scoring 41 tries.

The 2011 Man of Steel said in June that would he definitely remain with the club until the end of the season, and now with the campaign nearly over, it appears that he sees his future elsewhere.

The club will make no further comment at this time.
