Hunslet sign hooker Tebb
Hunslet have signed Dewsbury hooker Matthew Tebb for the 2014 season.
Tebb, 23, joined the Hawks on a month’s loan in July and made three appearances before being recalled.
Director of Rugby, Darren Williams, said: “We tried to sign Matty ahead of the 2013 season but he chose to stay at his home town club which is fully understandable, however he enjoyed his time with us whilst on loan and we were delighted to move quickly for him once we knew of his availability.
“At 23 he needs to establish himself and play a full season of first team rugby, he will get that opportunity here, he’s also a great person to have around the club and his enthusiasm rubs off on others.”
Tebb becomes the Hawks first new signing for next year.
