Duo opt for Hunslet switch

Hunslet have signed Aaron Lyons and Jermaine Akerdaire from York and Dewsbury respectively.

Akerdaire, 22, will fill the void left by the retiring Waine Pryce, while back-rower Lyons, also 22, will add options to Barry Eaton in the back-row.

Eaton said: “We are delighted that both players have decided to join us for 2014 and both will bring qualities that will strengthen us next year. Our squad is shaping nicely with new additions and also players that have committed from this years squad and more signings for 2014 should follow in the next few weeks.”
