Ellison re-signs with Oxford

Championship One side Oxford have re-signed prop David Ellison.

Ellison, who made 10 appearances for the club last season, began his career at Wigan and has had spells with Swinton, London Skolars and Oldham.

He said: “I’m delighted to have re-signed for the club, Tony gets the best out of me and motivates me. I really enjoyed being at the club last season, there are some really good people at the club, I’ve got good friends here which was another factor for re-signing. 

“The club has got good facilities and it’s the little things that they look after so we can just concentrate on playing rugby. There were a few clubs interested in me, but I wanted to remain here and it just felt right to re-sign for the 2014.”
