Huddersfield prop Anthony Mullally has agreed a season-long loan with Bradford Bulls.

Mullally, 22, has spent the past month at Odsal, and has now put pen to paper on a longer term deal, although it does include a 24-hour recall clause.

He said: “I am really enjoying it here and it will help me, in terms of my performances, knowing where I am going to be playing.

“I have had a good first month with the Bulls and am getting plenty of game time, which is fantastic.

“It is better for me because I know I am going to be here for the foreseeable future, rather than just another few weeks or so.

“I am committed to the Bradford cause and am very much looking forward to the challenges ahead.”

The Ireland international forward came through the ranks at Widnes, before joining Huddersfield ahead of the 2013 season.

Bulls coach Francis Cummins said: “The best way to learn about playing Super League is to go out there and do it.

“You can train and play all you want but unless you’re doing it then you’re not going to advance your career properly.

“Anthony has been good for us; he just needs to know what playing week in and week out is all about. He gets the chance do that with us now.

“I have been really impressed with him over the last four or five weeks and it is fantastic to have him on board for the foreseeable future.”
