New Roosters deal for Sam Moa
New Zealand prop Sam Moa has signed a new two-year contract extension with Sydney Roosters.
Moa, 27, has played 32 games in the NRL since switching from Hull, and represented the Kiwis at the World Cup and in the recent test match against Australia.
He said: “I’ve been a part of a few different clubs but feel like I’ve really found a home here at the Roosters. I’ve worked hard to get to where I am and am so glad to be part of such a well-run organisation from the top down.
“Despite interest from other clubs, I always wanted to stay a Rooster and am so happy that I’m able to. I look forward to continuing to work hard with my teammates to maintain and build on the standards we pride ourselves on.”
Moa joined Hull from Cronulla in 2009, and made 78 appearances for the club before Trent Robinson took him Down Under with the Roosters, where he won the NRL premiership in his first season.
