Salford Red Devils have confirmed that they have signed Mason Caton-Brown from London Broncos.

The 21-year-old Enfield-born back joins immediately, and has inked a two-and-a-half year deal.

Salford coach Iestyn Harris is delighted to have added the player, who has scored 11 tries this season, in a Broncos team which is yet to win a game.

“We are delighted to sign Mason today,” said Harris.

“His signature shows our commitment to signing the best young British prospects in the game and putting them alongside players of international stature such as Rangi Chase and Kevin Locke.

“We continue to build our squad for 2015 and beyond and we are looking forward to Mason being an important part of that.”

The player himself is relishing the challenge of the next phase of his career in the North of England.

“I’ve really enjoyed my time at the Broncos. I have made some great friends at the club and will miss the team and fans,” he said.

“I am however really looking forward to this next chapter in my career and am excited to be joining Salford and being part of their ambitions going forward.”
