Dom Young stars for Newcastle Knights in trial win
Dom Young impressed for his new club Newcastle Knights in a trial win over Cessnock.
The 19-year-old has joined the Knights on a three-year deal from Huddersfield ahead of the 2021 campaign.
Young made his first team debut for the Giants at the age of 17, and played twice for the Super League club before making the move to the NRL in the off-season.

The outside back scored and provided an assist in his first game for the Knights on Saturday as they beat Cessnock 20-4 at Cessnock Sports Ground.
Speaking after the game, Young told the club’s website: “It felt good, it has been a long time coming in getting back out on the field but it was good to get back out there with the boys and finally wear the colours.”
👏 A try for @ItsDomYoung in his first pre-season outing with @NRLKnights… ⚔️
