Gale told Yorkshire Evening Post: “There’ll be no-one more gutted than him but I wish him a speedy recovery.”
Burgess embraces Salford challenge
Joe Burgess is embracing his latest challenge as the Salford star opens up on his Wigan exit, reports Manchester Evening News.
Burgess told Manchester Evening News: “I’m not seeing it as I’m going to waltz straight in. It’s a challenge to get my spot.”
Price on his decision
Warrington coach Steve Price has talked about how he came to the decision to leave the club at the end of the season and return home to Australia, reports Warrington Guardian.
Price told Warrington Guardian: “It’s got nothing to do with the club, it’s a purely family decision having spoken with my wife and children. It’s as simple as that.”

Wigan centre Zak Hardaker believes Wigan are capable of a trophy clean-sweep this year, reports Wigan Today.
Hardaker told Wigan Today: “You come to Wigan, you’re expected to win something and that goes without saying, but why can’t we win everything?”
