Jordan Lilley banned for Bradford cup tie with Featherstone
Bradford will be without Jordan Lilley for their Challenge Cup tie with Featherstone after the half-back received a two-match suspension.
The 24-year-old received a two-match penalty notice for a Grade C dangerous contact in their pre-season friendly defeat to Swinton last Saturday.
Bradford say Lilley’s suspension will come into effect from next Tuesday, which will mean he will be able to play in Saturday’s friendly against Keighley.
He will miss their Challenge Cup match against Featherstone on March 21 and their Championship opener against Sheffield on April 4. Bradford’s cup tie against Featherstone will be streamed live by the BBC.
Elsewhere, Dewsbury forward Chris Annakin received a one-match penalty notice for a Grade B shoulder charge in their Heavy Woollen derby win over Batley last weekend.
