Gloucster RUFC deny George Burgess rumours

Gloucester RUFC have denied that they are interested in signing George Burgess from South Sydney Rabbitohs in a £550,000 deal.

Reports have circulated in Australia that the rugby union outfit were going to try and tempt the England front-rower to the other code.

With George’s brother Sam already heading to union with Bath RUFC, the reports suggested that George might be set to join him in the West Country.

But the Gloucester Citizen has reported that the Gloucester club have denied being interested in George Burgess.
