Wakefield loan Molloy to Sheffield

Wakefield Wildcats have confirmed that back row forward Jon Molloy has joined Sheffield Eagles on a month’s loan.

The 24-year-old is moving to build his match fitness. He joined Trinity in 2013 from Salford.

“Jon has been training really well this pre season,” said Wakefield coach James Webster.

“Him going on loan to Sheffield for a month will allow us to have a match fit player ready for the Easter period, which we know will require the majority of our squad to play.”
