Halifax release Rikki Sherffe

Halifax have confirmed the release of Rikki Sheriffe, with the player now set to move to Keighley Cougars on a permanent deal.

Sheriffe had been loan at Keighly until two weeks ago.

He returned to Fax to play against Workington in the Championship and Wakefield in the Challenge Cup in recent weeks.

“We’d like to wish Rikki all the best for the future,” said Fax director Ian Croad.

“He’s got a good offer to join a Championship One club and we didn’t feel we could stand in his way.”
