Greg Inglis likely to make Warrington debut against Hull KR next week
Greg Inglis is likely to make his Warrington debut next week against Hull KR, coach Steve Price has revealed.
Warrington travel to Perpignan to take on Catalans Dragons on Saturday – but former Australia international Inglis will not play in the south of France.
The 34-year-old centre arrived in England at the turn of the year to take up a one-year contract at Warrington but is yet to make his debut – although Price is confident he will be available for next week’s clash against Hull KR.
Price said: “Greg won’t play this week. More than likely the following week against Hull KR.
“He’s still had a few more hurdles to overcome and he’s got a big day later on in the week. We’re very confident he’ll be alright for Hull KR.”
Meanwhile, Warrington have announced that assistant coaches Lee Briers and Andrew Henderson will leave the club at the end of the season.
