League 1 round-up: Miloudi scores on Barrow debut, Workington top of the pile & Hunslet edge North Wales
There’s a Cumbrian flavour about the top of League 1 after the opening two rounds.
Workington extended their winning start to the new season with a commanding 50-16 victory at home to London Skolars.
Brad Holroyd, formerly of St Helens’ academy, bagged a hat-trick at Derwent Park. Alex Young also crossed in either half for Town.
Barrow brushed aside Keighley, one of the off-season favourites for promotion, to make it two wins from two to start the new season.
Jarrad Stack crossed twice in their 40-18 win, as did France international Hakim Miloudi on his Raiders debut.

Kiedan Hartley scored twice as Hunslet recorded their first win of the season away at North Wales.
Dominic Brambani added 10 points from the boot as Gary Thornton’s side recovered from a 12-6 deficit after the opening quarter to eventually triumph 26-18.
Coventry also got themselves off the mark with a 36-10 victory away at West Wales.
Peter Ryan crossed twice for the Bears before further scores from AJ Towse, Liam Welham, Nathan Hill and Kieran Sherratt.
Wakefield youngster Ollie Greensmith bagged a double as Doncaster triumphed 39-22 at home to Rochdale.
The match also featured the return of Watson Boas after he went back to his native Papua New Guinea at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
