North Wales Crusaders coach Anthony Murray was disappointed with the defeat to Oldham.

He said: “I have no complaints. Oldham were the better side on the day and just outplayed us in every department. They’re at the top of the league for a reason and that’s because they’re a good team, so full credit to them.

“It doesn’t get any easier this week. Gloucester seem to play better against the higher-ranked sides. They pushed Oldham close at their spot and Barrow close at their spot so they’re definitely capable of getting something out of games against the top sides.

“We’ll have to be at our best and hopefully get the two points that we definitely need to keep us in that top five area.”

Stephen Wild and Karl Ashall will miss the game, both having been suspended for two matches, while half-back Jamie Dallimore and forward Alex Thompson are both doubtful through injury.
