Burgess twins commit to Souths

Burgess twins George and Thomas have signed contract extensions with South Sydney Rabbitohs to keep them in the NRL until at least the end of 2018.

George has played 74 games since making his debut in 2012, while Thomas has played 51 times since his debut in 2013.

Coach Michael Maguire said: “George and Thomas are two of the pillars of our forward pack and we are very happy to have them extend their time with the Club to cover at least the next three seasons.

 “They are both great athletes and have made a real impact on our forward pack over the past few years.

“They are both leaders-in-the-making and we’re happy to have the boys in red and green.”
