Reports link Sam Burgess with Souths return
Sam Burgess could be in line for a return to South Sydney for the 2016 season, with speculation mounting that he will be leaving rugby union as soon as possible.
Media reports in Australia, notably from broadcast news programme 9News, claim that Burgess is keen to exit his three-year deal with Bath RUFC, which still has two years to run.
The former South Sydney forward was seen sitting with Steve McNamara and the England coaching set-up at the game against France at Leigh on Saturday afternoon.
England RU endured a miserably shocking World Cup campaign recently, with many union journalists pointing the finger of blame at Burgess, rather then the sheer ineptitude and lack of ability of the whole squad.
Burgess has also been linked with a possible move to a Super League side, with Leeds and Warrington rumoured to be tabling offers.
