Russell Crowe fires off at Souths players

South Sydney playmaker Luke Keary has been linked to a move to the Gold Coast after an alleged spat between the half and Souths co-owner Russell Crowe.

According to Channel Seven in Australia, Crowe reportedly launched a tirade against the whole South Sydney squad during a bonding night at his property in Coffs Harbour on the north coast of NSW.

The film star is believed to have torn shreds off the whole team for their performance in last season, Keary stormed out of a drinking session after he was berated by Crowe in front of the squad.

Keary, who has been tipped as a future Origin footballer, is off contract at this end of the season.

The Titans are keen on the 23-year old halfback, who can also play at hooker.
