The RFL respond to Koukash comments

The RFL have responded with a statement in regards to comments made by Marwan Koukash at a press conference this morning.

The Salford Red Devils owner said that he felt the Red Devils were being unfairly treated and that he has yet to see any evidence in regards to the charge the club received about salary cap breaches. Read further on what Koukash had to say this morning here. 

The RFL have been quick to respond with a short statement saying:

“Any club that is charged in relation to breaches of the RFL Operational Rules and Salary Cap regulations will be presented with the full case file of evidence at least 14 days before the hearing takes place.

“The RFL will present its case, the club will have the opportunity to respond and it is then up to an Independent Tribunal to decide as to whether a breach has occured and what the subsequent punishment should be.”
