No retirement for Tickle

Danny Tickle‘s agent has revealed that the former Widnes Vikings back rower is not set for retirement, and is speaking to Super League clubs about continuing his playing career.

Tickle was recently released by Widnes through mutual agreement, prompting some rumours that the 33-year-old was set to call it quits on his career.

“Nothing could be further from the truth. He is fit and raring to go,” said  the player’s agent, Karl Harrison of Elite Star Management.

“He has been training on his own and looks in tremendous condition.

“He will be a tremendous asset for somebody and we are talking to several Super League clubs.”
