Klemmer set to re-sign with Canterbury

Canterbury Bulldogs forward Dave Klemmer is set to extend his time with the club by signing an extension that will tie him down until the end of the 2018.

Klemmer was set to be out of contract at the end of the current season, but the Bulldogs and Klemmer have been quick to engage in talks to keep the prop forward for a further two seasons.

“We are in deep discussion at the moment, it is going well, we just have to formalise a couple of things and it should be done,” Klemmer told the Sydney Morning Herald. 

“I have secured my future so it is all good. I am settled here, my family loves it and I always wanted to stay.
