Sims to captain Jillaroos

Ruan Sims, sister of Warrington forward Ashton, will captain the Australian Jillaroos against the Kiwi Ferns this Friday.

The women’s Test is on at Newcastle’s Hunter Stadium before the Anzac Test kicks off this weekend.

The Jillaroos are seeking to avenge the loss they suffered to New Zealand at the Auckland Nines earlier this year.

Australian will be captained by Sims and are coached by former Canterbury boss Steve Folkes.
