Tonga v Samoa preview

Expect fireworks on Saturday evening as Tonga and Samoa go head to head in what looks like an exciting game in prospect.

Games between these two countries are never quiet affairs, and looking back over the last three years will prove that with Tongan fans invading the pitch as Samisoni Liangi lined up a conversion.

Last year’s game between the two attracted over 12,000 spectators on the Gold Coast, and with the game taking place in Parramatta this time around, they will be hoping for a similar number this weekend.

Tonga will be looking towards David Fifita and Sika Manu to give the Tongans the drive forward they need in a game as intense as this one, with coach Kristian Woolf being able to boast NRL experience in every member of his squad.

Hull FC‘s Frank Pritchard will lead the Samoan’s into this game and will be hoping the likes of Pita Godinet and Fa’amanu Brown can guide them around the field to give them a victory in this game.
