Pritchard and Taylor banned
The RFL have confirmed that three Super League players have been hit with bans after the weekend’s games.
Andy Yates of Wakefield Wildcats has been suspended for three games for making Grade E dangerous contact on Toulouse Olympique XIII’s Kuni Minga in the Challenge Cup sixth round game on Sunday March 8. Yates was also fined £300.
Frank Pritchard of Hull FC has been banned for one match for making a Grade A high tackle on Michael Oldfield of Tonga, whilst playing on international duty for Samoa. Pritchard, who pleaded guilty, was also fined £300.
Catalans Dragons forward Dave Taylor has been given a one game ban after submitting an Early Guilty Plea for making a Grade B Dangerous Throw on Batley Bulldogs player Keegan Hirst in the Challenge Cup sixth round match on Friday May 6.
The player was found not guilty for making a Grade A dangerous throw on James Harrison in the fourth minute of the same game.
