Foran to miss rest of the season

Parramatta playmaker Kieran Foran is set to be sidelined for the rest of the 2016 season with a shoulder injury.

Foran hurt his shoulder in the win over the Newcastle Knights. According to reports he will need surgery to repair the injury and a torn bicep.

It has been a horror first season for the Kiwi at the Eels, with the club hit with salary cap dramas.

Foran took leave from the game for personal issues and has also had details of his gambling activities leaked to the media.

The five-eighth joined Parramatta from Manly at the end of 2015.
