Huddersfield run riot over Rovers
Rick Stone has notched his first win as coach of Huddersfield with a 62-16 thumping of Featherstone today.
Stone, who joined the Giants a month ago, had yet to win a match in his first three games in charge.
But the Australian was left pleased with his side’s 11-try, 46-point victory.
Three of his players scored doubles as Huddersfield put Rovers to the sword.
They went 28-6 in front at half-time and added six more tries after the interval.
It was the Giants’ first win in the Super 8s after falling to Salford last Sunday.
