Broughton re-signs with Catalans

Catalans winger Jodie Broughton has signed a new two-year deal with the club tieing him to the Dragos until 2019.

Broughton, who joined Catalans at the start of the year from Huddersfield, is the top try scorer of the club with 18 tries in 19 games.

“Since his arrival, Jodie Broughton is easily adapted to our club and our team,” Christophe Jouffret, CEO of the club, said.

“This remarkable English try hunter participated greatly to our qualification for the Super 8’s.

“Although Jodie still has a year contract with us in 2017, it was important to extend his contract to 2018 and 2019 to keep our great finisher.”
