Ashurst picks up injury
Wakefield forward Matty Ashurst has confirmed he broke his jaw in the defeat to Castleford on Sunday.
Ashurst tweeted last night:
Shit day yday. Appreciate all the messages of support. Tough loss & proper gutted to break my jaw. Terrible timing. #2ndHalfWasAStruggle

Ashurst is expected to miss Saturday’s Challenge Cup semi-final and could be out for the rest of the season.
The back-rower has played 22 games for Wakefield this year.
