Morrison: Concentration for full 80 is key

Dewsbury coach Glenn Morrison was frustrated his side couldn’t see out the game against Workington Town last week.

“We were winning for most of the game, then they scored in the last minute,” Morrison said.
 
“We had a massive wind in our face in the first half and I thought it was about damage limitation to stay in the game but we were 10 points up with the wind at our backs.
 
“Not being able to manage the game well enough wasn’t good. Individual errors and some bad management are letting us down a little bit at the moment.
 
“Every game is important, there are no easy games this year. Fans want to see wins but everyone is fighting for their lives, including ourselves, which makes it tough.”
 
Swinton suffered a narrow 26-24 defeats at the hands of Oldham but Lions coach John Duffy believes there were encouraging signs from the performance.
 
“It was a bit disappointing but all credit to Oldham, they stuck with it and got a result,” Duffy said.
 
“A few big teams have gone there and had some big scores put on them, so although we didn’t like the result, I was happy with our attitude.
 
“We’ve not seen Dewsbury since the first game of the season. Both teams have grown and are desperate at the minute, so it’s going to be another cracker of a game I think.
 
“They’re always good at home. We need to get something out of these last two games so there’s a big focus on keeping everything positive.”
