McCarthy slams eligibility laws
Tyrone McCarthy has attacked the eligibility rules of the international game, saying the top nations can cherry-pick the best talent from developing countries and then discard them when they want.
International eligibility has been a hot topic of late with Fijian Semi Radradra playing for Australia and Wayne Bennett’s plans to entice several Australians to declare for England.
Irish international McCarthy, who has 12 caps for the Wolfhounds, wade into the debate on Twitter.

Tier 1 can cream the top of tier 2 teams then once there deemed not up to standard they can go back
