Mickael Goudemand wants to win more silverware after signing new Catalans contract
Mickael Goudemand has signed a new two-year contract which will keep him with the French Super League club until the end of 2023.
Catalans coach Steve McNamara said: “Mika is a great example for all young French players.
“He has committed himself to improving every day and, from joining the club on a trial basis in 2018, he has established himself regularly in the matchday 17.
“We are very happy he has agreed to a new two-year deal and look forward to seeing his influence grow even further within our team.”
Goudemand said: “I am very happy to extend my contract with Catalans Dragons for the next two seasons.
“The team is incredible this year and I am lucky to be part of it. My objectives are to keep progressing but also to bring a title back in Perpignan.”

Goudemand made his debut for the club in the Challenge Cup against Whitehaven in 2018 and then went on to play in their win over Warrington in the final at Wembley as they became the first non-British team to win the Cup.
Goudemand made 65 appearances for hometown club Avignon in the French Elite Championship between 2010-16 before linking up with Catalans.
The back-rower, who has won six caps for France, also spent time in England with Championship side Dewsbury in 2017.
The Dragons currently sit at the top of the Super League table and will look to strengthen their position when they travel to Hull KR on Monday night.
Catalans have only lost one game in Super League so far this season, with Steve McNamara’s side having won 14 from their 15 games. The Dragons have the best win rate in the competition thus far at 93.33%.
