Jesse Sene-Lefao dislocates shoulder on Featherstone debut
Jesse Sene-Lefao has dislocated his shoulder on his Featherstone Rovers debut.
The former Castleford Tigers back-rower joined the Championship outfit during the off-season.
Sene-Lefao made the move to the United Kingdom in 2017 joining the Tigers. He went on to make 100 appearances for the club and helped Castleford on route to the League Leaders’ Shield in his debut season.
He has been given the number 12 shirt for the 2022 season.,
Jesse Sene-Lefao injured five minutes into debut
On his debut appearance for Rovers, the back-rower dislocated his shoulder just five minutes into the clash with York.
The Samoan international thought he had crossed on his first competitive appearance for the side. However, a great cover tackle from York’s Matty Marsh forced the mistake which also led to the injury.
Sene-Lefao left the field immediately after, and it was confirmed by Premier Sports pundit Ross Fiddes that the player had suffered the injury.
