Pauli Pauli receives second ban with York & David Foggin-Johnston referred to tribunal

Pauli Pauli has received his second ban of the year following York’s victory over Batley.

The forward has been charged for two separate incidents following the clash at the Fox’s Biscuits Stadium.

Pauli previously received a two-match ban following the club’s pre-season friendly with Castleford.

Pauli Pauli charged twice following win

The former Super League forward will miss the next three games following two separate bans.

He has been charged with both a Grade A High Tackle and a Grade B Dangerous Contact – resulting in a combined three-match penalty notice.

Pauli will miss York’s fixtures with Leigh, Newcastle and London.

19 players charged in total

A total of 19 players have been charged following the latest Championship and Challenge Cup fixtures.

Bradford’s David Foggin-Johnston has been referred to tribunal following his high shot in Aaron Smith.

The winger was sent from the field in the second half in his side’s 38-4 defeat at Leigh. He has been charged with a Grade E High Tackle.

Newcastle’s Mitch Clark will miss the next two games following his Grade C High Tackle charge.

Hooker Connor Davies-Aspey will miss Rochdale’s upcoming Challenge Cup tie with Barrow.
