St Helens v Wakefield: Saints unchanged as Miller and Fifita return for Trinity

Champions St Helens have named an unchanged squad for the third successive week at the start of the Super League season.

Will Hopoate remains in the squad having missed the win at Hull due to injury.

His replacement, Josh Simm, scored two tries and coach Kristian Woolf will have a tough decision to make for who starts this Friday.

The only notable absentee for Saints remains Welsh winger Regan Grace.

Woolf provided an update on Grace earlier this week, saying they won’t rush his return.

Wakefield welcome back Jacob Miller and David Fifita to their squad after they sat out the trip to Catalans.

Hooker Liam Hood was helped off injured in the narrow defeat in Perpignan and drops out.

Mason Lino, who was named in the 21-man squad last week but didn’t play, isn’t included this week.

First choice centres Bill Tupou and Reece Lyne remain sidelined.

Kelepi Tanginoa returns to the first team having dropped down to the reserves last week.

Although Trinity have lost both their games so far, they have done so by a total of just six points.
