Wakefield v Leeds: Harry Newman returns for Rhinos
Harry Newman has been named in Leeds’ squad to face Wakefield on Thursday at The Be Well Support Stadium.
Harry Newman has been sidelined for the opening three rounds. The centre suffered a hamstring injury in the pre-season win over Hull. He has been named in Richard Agar’s squad to face Trinity in round four.
Winger David Fusitu’a could make his second appearance for the club. He has been ruled out of the last two games with concussion after leaving the field against Warrington.
Back-rower Rhyse Martin is back in the UK having returned home to Australia on compassionate leave.
Hooker Brad Dwyer could make his 100th appearance for the club if selected against Wakefield. Liam Sutcliffe is another who could hit a milestone, having played 199 games for Leeds.
Mason Lino named for Wakefield
Wakefield continue to search for their first win of the season in the 2022 Super League campaign. Recently, they fell to a 20-4 defeat to champions St Helens.
Key half-back and kicker Mason Lino has been named in Wakefield’s squad. The former NRL man featured for the club’s reserves in their win over Hull KR over the weekend.
Wakefield winger Tom Lineham is set to face a couple of weeks on the sidelines after suffering an injury in their 20-4 defeat at champions St Helens.
The 29-year-old, who joined Trinity in the off-season from Warrington, left the action early in Friday night’s defeat at St Helens.
