Super League duo referred to tribunal following mass brawl
Jordan Dezaria and Kaide Ellis have both been referred to tribunal following Catalans’ win over Wigan on Saturday in Super League.
The pair have received Grade E Strikes charges for throwing punches during the clash in Perpignan. They could miss between four to eight weeks of action.
Wigan forward Brad Singleton will miss the next two weeks for the Warriors. He received a Grade B Late Hit on Passer charge following his side’s first defeat of the season.
Sione Mata’utia handed two-match ban
St Helens back-rower and Man of Steel leader Sione Mata’utia has received a two-match ban following their win over Warrington.
Mata’utia was shown a yellow card for a late hit on George Williams following a kick in the first half. He received a Grade B High Tackle, deemed as reckless. Kristian Woolf’s side defeated Warrington 28-2 at the Totally Wicked Stadium on Friday night.
He will miss their next upcoming fixture against Toulouse and the sixth round of the Challenge Cup.
In the same fixture, Joe Philbin received a Grade A Dangerous Contact charge but has not picked up a ban.

Elsewhere
On loan Toulouse forward Ellis Robson has received a one-match ban for a Grade B Dangerous Contact charge.
Kane Evans has been handed a two-match ban following Hull’s victory over Leeds. He was sent from the field for 10 minutes for a high tackle on Jack Walker.
Leeds forward Matt Prior has received a one-match ban for the same charge.
