Toulouse Olympique officially terminate contract of Mark Kheirallah
Super League newcomers Toulouse Olympique have officially announced the contract termination of full-back Mark Kheirallah for gross misconduct.
Last month, Toulouse coach Sylvain Houles said that Kheirallah would never play for his team again.
The 32-year-old spent 10 seasons with Toulouse, making almost 200 appearances for the French club. However, he has not played for the club in Super League.
Speaking after their 38-12 defeat at Salford in round two, Houles said: “Mark won’t play for again for us. As simple as that.
“From my side, yes, and from the contract side, there’s an element where the trust has been broken. So, it’s quite tough.
“There’s legal stuff in there where it’s not up to me to say, but it’s not rocket science either to understand I don’t think.
“I think our chairman has been saying it in France and on French newspapers.”

Toulouse have seen two of their talisman in Kheirallah and Johnathon Ford leave the club without playing a game in Super League.
Captain Ford left Toulouse just 17 days before their first-ever game in Super League due to family and personal reasons.
The French Government’s rules at the time was that all athletes would have to be vaccinated against coronavirus if they wanted to play, and Ford didn’t want to have the vaccine.
France international Mark Kheirallah and Cook Islands international Ford are now without clubs and their futures are unclear.
Toulouse signed Kheirallah’s replacement a couple of weeks ago in the shape of Olly Ashall-Bott, who arrived from Huddersfield.
The 24-year-old, who has came through the ranks at Widnes, has made a strong impression in his first month in France, scoring two tries in four appearances for Super League’s newest club.
