In numbers: Super League round six attendances
Super League round six saw an average crowd of 7,832 across the six fixtures.
That’s a downfall of 362 compared to round five.
A total of 46,994 spectators attended a game of Super League during the sixth round of the competition.
Hull FC saw the biggest attendance on Sunday afternoon for their home clash with Huddersfield at the MKM Stadium with 10,682.
Brett Hodgson’s side claimed their fourth win of the season with a 14-6 win over 12-man Giants.
Will Pryce was sent from the field for a dangerous tackle on Connor Wynne. The youngster has been referred to tribunal for a Grade F charge.
Thursday night numbers
Wigan’s home clash with Castleford saw an attendance of 10,042 on Thursday night. It was the second highest attended game in round six.
The Warriors survived a late comeback threat from Lee Radford’s side to return to winning ways with a 32-22 score at the DW Stadium.
Saturday afternoon’s match at the Halliwell Jones Stadium saw a crowd of 8,164 as Wakefield defeated Warrington. The game was also live on Channel 4, presented by Adam Hills.
Willie Poching’s side followed up their opening win of the season against Toulouse with a well deserved success and their first victory at Warrington since July 2014.
More than 5,000 in Toulouse
5,568 saw Toulouse claim their first victory in Super League over champions St Helens. It was a stunning 22-20 victory at Stade Ernest Wallon.
Friday night games saw a combined crowd of just over 11,000 for the two fixtures.
Catalans’ home match with Hull KR saw a crowd of 6,782 in Perpignan. A combined 21,886 spectators have attended the three games at Stade Brutus so far this season.
5,756 attended the AJ Bell Stadium on Friday night as Salford defeated Leeds 26-12.
A total of 301,627 supporters have attended a top flight game of rugby league in 2022.
