Cardiff Arms Park to host Women’s Super League South Grand Final
Cardiff Arms Park will host the 2022 Women’s Super League South Grand Final on Sunday August 28.
The famous ground sits next door to the Millennium Stadium, which the original ground made way for in 1997.
It holds 9,000 spectators and hosted rugby league back in 2015, when Wales beat France 14-6 – a game in which Regan Grace made his first class debut.
The Women’s Super League South sits beneath the Women’s Super League, with both competitions getting underway in May.

Women’s Super League South is made up of seven teams, who will play seven rounds of fixtures before a play-off semi-final and Grand Final.
Cornish Rebels take on Bristol’s Golden Ferns and London Broncos face the British Army on the opening day on May 15.
Also in the competition are reigning champions Cardiff Demons, Bedford Tigers and newcomers Oxford Cavaliers.
RFL Head of Growth and Wales Women’s Head Coach, Thomas Brindle, says: “We’re delighted to welcome Oxford Cavaliers to the competition this year and we wish them – and the other six BWSLS clubs – a successful season.
“Women’s Rugby League goes from strength to strength with the expansion of the Betfred Women’s Super League South, and nationwide in 2022 we will have more women and girls than ever playing the game. This year we’ll also have girls from Bedford Tigers joining the England talent pathway and the Tigers’ Caroline Collie is now with the England Women’s squad as they step up their preparations for this year’s World Cup.”
The domestic Welsh Women’s League fixtures will be announced soon and will slot in between the Cardiff Demons fixtures.
