Catalans forward Mike McMeeken suffers broken arm
Catalans forward Mike McMeeken suffered a broken arm during Super League’s first ever French derby.
The Dragons edged past Toulouse 18-10 in Perpignan on Thursday night, with a crowd of 8,922.
Fouad Yaha scored a brace, while Joe Chan and Matt Whitley also crossed.
McMeeken, 27, was forced from the field in the second half with a nasty arm injury. Head coach Steve McNamara confirmed a broken arm for his star back-rower during his post-match press conference.

McNamara said: “Mike’s got a badly broken arm and he is in the ambulance now, which is clearly bad news for him. We hope it isn’t as serious as it looks.”
Despite their victory, Catalans captain Ben Garcia said his side weren’t impressed with the way they performed during Rivals Round.
Chan was sent off during the second half in what was a scrappy occasion at Stade Brutus.
Skipper Garcia said afterwards: “It was an ugly game. It’s a shame because we all wanted to showcase French rugby league with free-flowing play but it wasn’t like that at all. It was more like a stop-start game of rugby union.
“We might have won but the players aren’t very happy in the dressing room.”
McNamara added: “I’ve experienced lots of these derbies but it’s new for everyone here.
“Everybody wants the best game and a great performance but sometimes you just have to fight and scrap and get the win, that’s what we did tonight.
“It was a difficult, horrible game in terms of quality and we had to find a way to win – and we did.”
Toulouse head coach Sylvain Houles confirmed no new injuries for his side, who host Hull KR on Easter Monday.
