Lussick after England call-up

Manly prop Darcy Lussick is considering making himself available to play for England in the Four Nations.

Lussick was born and raised in Sydney but qualifies through his grandmother.

“If I got an opportunity, I’d take it with both hands,” Lussick told Fox Sports.

“I qualify through my grandmother. It is my goal (to play rep footy). It’s been a goal for a while but I guess over the years it hasn’t been a reality.

“Over the next couple of weeks I’ll sit down with my manager and my family and decide what I want to do. My family would be pretty proud.”

Lussick is the son of former Sea Eagles forward Jason.

He made his NRL debut for Manly in 2011, spent the 2013 to 2015 seasons with Parramatta, before returning to Brookvale this year.

The 27-year old has made 102 appearances in the NRL and played twice for NSW City Origin.
