Warrington halves Kurt Gidley and Chris Sandow will miss the Wire’s match against Catalans with the club waiting to see how serious the pair’s injuries are.

Gidley, Sandow and Ben Westwood all picked up injuries in the Challenge Cup final, with Westwood likely to be out for the rest of the season with a torn pectoral muscle.

Gidley missed the last 22 minutes of the Wolves’ 12-10 defeat by Hull FC at Wembley with a lacerated eye and will have scans to see if there is an injury to his eye socket.

Sandow completed the full 80 minutes on Saturday despite a knee injury and will also undergo scans to determine the extent of it.
