Mateo departs Salford

Mid-season signing Feleti Mateo has left Salford after just a handful of appearances.

Salford haved confirmed that Mateo has been released from the remainder of his contract to return to Australia for family reasons.

The 32-year old joined the Red Devils at the end of July from Manly.

He made three appearances for Salford.

Salford said in a statement: “The Club would like to wish Feliti well and thank him for his efforts.”
