Super League appeals: Leeds Rhinos, St Helens & Hull KR verdicts
Three Super League players have appealed the bans handed to them following Newcastle’s Magic Weekend.
Hull KR’s Dean Hadley has successfully appealed against a one-match suspension imposed by the Match Review Panel. He had been charged with Grade B Late Hit on Kicker.
However, it has now been reduced to Grade A (Other Contrary Behaviour), with no suspension. It means he will be free to face Wakefield at home this Sunday.
St Helens back-rower Sione Mata’utia and Leeds forward Matt Prior have also challenged their suspensions.

Mata’utia, 26, has been successful in overturning a one-match ban for a Grade B Intentional Trip charge. He has accepted a caution and there will be no suspension.
He will be free to face Huddersfield this Friday, live on Sky Sports.
Prior will miss Leeds’ next two matches after his appeal against a Match Review Panel decision was unsuccessful.
The 35-year-old challenged the panel’s verdict of Grade B Dangerous Contact during their Super League match against Castleford, but this was found to be correct.
He will miss games against Toulouse and Wigan.
