Castleford recall Jason Qareqare days after loaning winger to Championship side
Castleford Tigers have recalled winger Jason Qareqare less than a week after loaning him to Whitehaven.
Qareqare, 18, was only announced by the Championship side last Friday. He did not feature in their 64-4 defeat to Leigh Centurions over the weekend, and has now been recalled by his parent club.
The winger has been included in Lee Radford’s side to face Wakefield.
Castleford have only managed to name a 20-man squad for the Super League clash on Friday.
Cain Robb and Kieran Hudson have also been recalled from Whitehaven to the Tigers and have been included in the squad.

Radford will be without Gareth O’Brien and Alex Mellor after failing head injury assessments at the MKM Stadium last Friday. Sam Hall also drops out of the squad.
Liam Watts is available for selection after serving a two-match suspension. Hudson has been named in the squad for the first time. He could make his Super League debut against Wakefield at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle.
The 22-year-old joined Castleford in February and linked back up immediately with Championship club Whitehaven on loan.
Wakefield will be without Jorge Taufua, who has suffered a season-ending injury.
The Samoa and Tonga international suffered a broken arm after Konrad Hurrell broke his tackle in Sunday’s 13-12 golden point defeat to St Helens.
Kelepi Tanginoa misses out through suspension. The forward was unsuccessful in his appeal against a charge of Dangerous Contact.
Yusuf Aydin has been included in Wakefield’s squad following the completion of his loan spell at Leeds Rhinos.
