Liam Moore to referee Super League Grand Final
Liam Moore will referee the Super League Grand Final at Old Trafford for the second consecutive season.
The 27-year-old has been appointed as the referee for Saturday’s Super League showpiece between reigning champions St Helens and Leeds.
Moore took charge of his first Grand Final last October, with Kristian Woolf’s side beating Catalans Dragons 12-10 in front of 45,000 fans at the Theatre of Dreams.
And he will return to Old Trafford this weekend when Saints take on Rohan Smith’s Rhinos.
“It’s always an honour to be appointed for such a prestigious fixture,” Moore said.
